❦ The Beautiful World Of Rumi’s Magical Thoughts. ❦

Come, Lets Fall in Love again…..

Those who don’t feel this love
pulling them like a river
those who don’t drink dawn
like a cup of spring water
or take sunset like supper

those who don’t want to change
let them sleep…
This Love is beyond the study of theology
that old trickery and hypocrisy
If you want to improve your mind that way
sleep on.

I’ve given up on my brain
I’ve torn the cloth to shreds
and thrown it away.

If you’re not completely naked
wrap your beautiful robe of words around you
and sleep.

~Rumi

  1. I love Rumi’s quotes… This is no exception! Thank you for visiting my page so that I could find yours! 😀 Very nice posts…

  2. It’s a pleasure to meet you! I love that you stopped by and shared your love. Thank You. For myself, love is not a feeling, but a state of being. My feelings come and go like the wind. They pour out of me like the river you speak of. In the being of love you vibrate like the strings of a finely tuned instrument and play the songs of love for all to hear. I vibrate love in this way. Love is like a mirror, when you love, you become a mirror of love. And when someone else loves, they also become a mirror of love. When you place these mirrors of love together facing each other, they will reflect this love infinitely. It’s wonderful to look into another mirror of love and see myself in love. Thanks for being here in love Let’s all be mirrors of love and keep reflecting this love to everyone we meet. Thank you for letting me share my love with you………………… Until the next time we meet. I’ll be Chief Running Bear, and probably chilled to the bone. LOL

  3. Rumi…..stunning! I have never said that about a poem until now. I love it! “If you’re not completely naked…….” I am. As much as that thought makes me shudder! lol jk……I have shed many cloaks this past year. My latest piece, “Being bipolar”, was like standing before all the world wearing nothing but my smile. Scary. Not always pretty. Very liberating. And exasperating! Thank you for a truly wonderful read! xoJulia

  4. Back again to Thank You. Hope the both of you are well. I was wondering if you thought I was to rough on the New World Order in my last post on GMOZ. I speak of love and then, I blasted these entities for what they have done to humanity. Sometimes they really anger me with their thoughtless and careless actions. Loving and understanding them only seems to make it worse, because I find it very difficult to look pure Evil in the eyes and give it a hug. You know, looking into that reflection hoping to see a reflection of love, and seeing only Evil! It set one back a bit because one might think that reflection is their self, not realizing that the mirror they are peering into is just that, a mirror. With a different vibration. Not a true reflection of myself but distorted. Kinda like the heat coming off the ground on very hot day and peering into the distance. Does Rumi have any words of enlightenment for a situation such as this? Please share! I’m back to vibrating love thank you! Take care. let’s talk again soon.

  5. It’s great to hear from you again. Sorry to read about you losing your love! I have come to realize in my life that there is not just one right love. There are many. Now you have the chance to discover them all. Where before you my have only discovered the one. I found three loves right away. The one I loved. The one that loved me. And then there’s the one I married. Funny those never seem to work out. Ho hum oh, well. Hey it’s still love. Hang in there. Thanks for the like maybe one day it will LOVE.

  6. Thank you for liking ‘The Poetic Definition of Love’ I have been following your blog for some time, as a fan of Rumi. You might be interested in a new book and can get a ‘first impression’ (literally) on this site http://www.involution-odyssey.com There are some short extracts to give a flavour of it. I’d value any and all opinions!
